1st Winner Ericsson Smartnovation Indonesia Hackathon, 2017-Mahardhika Adjie Kurniya
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Five students of ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung) from team number 6 won Ericsson Smartnovation Indonesia Hackathon 2017 competition that was done in Hotel Pullman, Central Jakarta. The members of the team, Atika Rahmawati (21), Erick Chandra (22), Rahmadi Rizki Pandia (21), Fachriyan Husaini (20), Mahardhika Adjie Kurniya (20).
This team provided a solution to fix public transportation service that will lead into traffic improvement in Jakarta. Their solution was in the form of a mobile application with the name of “Smart Passenger-Driver Monitoring System” that was made around 20 hours in Hotel Pullman.

This application’s concept is similar to Go-Jek or Grab-Bike. When the user opened this application and chose the public transportation such as metromini, the page will be directed to the map with the location of the metromini, equipped with the metromini’s tariff range.
In this Hackathon, 60 students from known university in Indonesia such as ITB, Tel-U (Telkom University), UI (Universitas Indonesia), and Binus (Bina Nusantara), were arranged into 12 team with 5 students each. They were asked to search the traffic solution in Jakarta.
The scoring of their innovations was based on innovation, quality, user experience, and impact criterion of their innovations. Also, the participants were considered to be a part of Ericsson Indonesia internship program and to be a part of Ericsson’s high education program.
