History

Undergraduate Program of Electrical Power Engineering is one of the program unit as a part of School of Electrical and Informatics Engineering (STEI) Institut Teknologi Bandung. Electrical Engineering Study Program was established based on Rector ITB Decree Number 268 / SK / K01 / OT / 2008 dated 26 November 2008 (SK Rektor ITB No. 268 / SK / K01 / OT / 2008). Electrical Power Engineering Study Program provides education in the field of generation, transmission, distribution, and the use of electrical energy. During his study in Electrical Engineering Department, students will gain basic knowledge related to electric power engineering principles and some basic sciences.

Vision

Vision of Program of Electric Power Engineering is:

“To produce graduates in electrical engineering with international standard with qualifications relevant to the needs of Indonesia and the world in the future, and pioneered the invention and development of science and technology in the field of electrical engineering worldwide and able to develop the application of technology in the field of electrical power engineering that can be applied to build the strength of the national economy. “

Mission

The mission of the Program of Electric Power Engineering are:

1. Organizing education in Electric Power Engineering by utilizing communication and information technology to creative community.
2. Following (maintaining) the state of the art and developing the science of Electric Power Engineering through innovative research activities.
3. Disseminate science, technology and views / insight of Electric Power Engineering owned to the community either through its affairs, partnership with industry or other institutions or through community service activities in order to help the society wisely technologically.
